Radhanath Swami on Power

Radhanath Swami on Power

When the sun drops into the Arabian Sea, Mumbai is lit by Neon signs that line its busy streets. Being the economical capital of India, the city stands immune to the electricity shortage that plagues the rest of the country. Mumbaiites, the residents of Mumbai, get electricity in plenty, though they are often embarrassed by shortages of clean water and fresh air.

This day, however, was different for our hosts. They had been preparing their home for Radhanath Swami’s arrival the whole day, and at dusk, unfortunately, electricity gave way. So, when Radhanath Swami’s entourage reached there, their home resembled a dark den. “Sorry, there’s no power,” our host sighed.

Radhanath Swami smiled, “Anyways , I am not attached to power.”

–Vikram Arora (Radhanath Swami’s Secretary)

How Maharaj doesnt let anybody feel any body low, in any circumstances is something only a spiritual guru like Maharaj can give others an experience of. The Principles of spirituality are subtle bu so powerful that in face of colossal problems also they give you the power to smile.

    Hare Krishna.
